When a Rewind Is the Right Choice

  • Electrical faults or winding damage beyond repair
  • Insulation failure due to age, contamination, or thermal stress
  • Obsolete lead times for new equipment where rewind time replace time
  • OEM specific coils or frame constraints that favor rebuilding

Our Rewind Process

  1. Incoming inspection & data capture (nameplate, failure mode)

  2. Controlled stripping/burn out to protect the core

  3. Core evaluation & core loss testing

  4. Coil design & manufacture (to spec; turns, wire, slot insulation)

  5. Insertion, lacing & connections with proper slot/phase insulation

  6. Varnish/impregnation & bake (per specified system/class)

  7. Reassembly & no load/run checks

  8. Electrical testing: surge and hipot

  9. Final QA and shipment with as rewound data and test records
